Is search broken?

I wrote a post a while ago about how to turn off smart quotes in Designer. I've just tried to search for that post again, using smart quotes or quotes (which I'm sure I must have used) as keywords, and selecting my user name, but nothing shows up? I checked All Types/Forums/Posts and Any Date.

Best way to search for something is Google. Use this format search string site:talkgraphics.com

For examplethe link above came from smart quotes site:talkgraphics.com

I do think there is actually a problem with searching the forum when not signed in. Image Verification is not displayed.

It's fixed now, but it's the Captcha word thing required when not signed into the forum.

the TG search has never worked that well - especially with just a couple of words - it is the built-in vbulletin board search and not much can be done about that as I understand

I do what gary suggested re google... useful for lots of other other sites too, such as amazon
