Default Looking for some inspiring navigation menus

Has anyone successfully imported or created a really exciting navigational menu in XWDP? I hate to be ugly,..but quite frankly the nav bar options available in Xara Web Designer Premium are quite,..shall I say....dull and truly uninspiring. If there is one area where I think this program could step it up a bit would be in the navigational category.

That being said,...I have seen some really inspiring radial or circular menus as well as push pulls available with the codes in tact. Assuming that this would be an arduous task to insert the code into Xara, I then looked at seeing what my version of WDP11 offered in the way of nav menu options. Not much.

Yes,..I'm fully aware that I can probably just try and build one from scratch and try to make it have the same look and effect as the really nice ones created with JQuery etc...but it would have been great to see even a few ready made included with the software package.

If anyone has created a really modern landing page with an inspiring fly-out nav menu (whether radial in nature or just in a more sleek style) I would love to see it or learn more about how you achieved it.

    Thanks,

    td

I did this several years ago to demonstrate what can be accomplished creating your own navigation buttons using layers. http://www.gwpriester.com/menu-test/

These are more conventional but are still not off the rack buttons http://www.gwpriester.com/
