    Default .sdb database

    Hi!
    I'm new at this forum.
Have worked with Serif WebPlus but since they have stop the develop it I search for another Web software.
Xara looks great but I'm not sure I can use my .sdb database with it.
Does anyone work with Xara and a .sdb database and can you explain how I should do to get it work?

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Per

I do not think you can use a data base with Xara natively. But there may be a work-around. Check back and see if one of our members has an answer.

Welcome Per. You should be able to intergrate it using a placeholder. Perhaps you could supply more details of your requirements.

There are no repeating panels, no native database merging, in Xara products.

There you can see how I have a repeting field within I have fields from my .sdb database. The database was written in Filemaker Pro and the saved result was out in .sdb format so Serif Webplus could take care of the data.

Take a look at Tom's XT-CMS Content Manager, I think this would suit your needs and is cheap.

Tom has created this software to work alongside Xara. See the DEMO's
