Facebook like button help

I have tried to put a Facebook like button on my website but can't get it working properly. The number of likes only shows as one and if I click it again goes to zero. Surely it should show the total amount of likes on my Facebook page.

This is how I have done it.

Filled in the URL, width, layout and action type
Clicked Get Code
Clicked on iframe
Copied and pasted code onto my footer on my webpage.

But this does not work, any advice on where I am going wrong please.

Did you put the button on an actual site or are you testing it in Xara? I think the button needs to be on a live site and I also think that the button checks your IP address so you can only like once from a single IP address.

It is on an actual site. On the site it says I have one like in the box_count. But on my Facebook page I have more than one.

Have a friend, or post a link here, click the Like button and see if it registers.

That is really odd. I only see 2 still and on your screenshot the share button is missing!

If the Share button is under the area of the Facebook Like button it will not appear.
