    Default Billboard Magic

    Alright, so what gives? I put in all the information for FTP and no cookies. I keep getting this error message.

    Hello ss-kalm;

    I don't know exactly what you mean. In utilities I put in all of the information in the Publish section, except for sub-folder. (not going that route yet.) What is the ftp:\\ prefix?

    That error basically means you haven't set up the route to your web host correctly. Rather like dialling an incorrect telephone number & being told "This number doesn't exist" or "Sorry we couldn't connect you" or similar.

    So you need to set up the publish details correctly. Say your website was www.iggy.com then you need to set up the publish settings as in the attached image. Your username & password will be whatever your host supplied you with. The subfolder is often required, often being 'public_html' but could easily be 'www_files' or similar. Again check with your web host for details.

    Finally, click on the 'Explore Webspace' button. This may not guarantee it's the correct subfolder your publishing to but it will confirm that the ftp filename, username and password are correct.
