Good drawings Mike! As Bob states nice style used on the second. What software did you use? I take it was done using some form of bitmap editor.
Design is thinking made visual.

Prisma also creates some very credible painting effects. I'm not sure if they offer their filters to third parties but I would love to see some of these included in Designer Pro.
