Default Ecwid and single page website

    Hi
Has anyone come across this problem, using pro 365 on windows 7.

I am using the Fresh single page website theme
And have an Ecwid sales page on the main web page with images of products for sale. That's all OK and works fine.

When i look at the variant page there is a white box available with no images either in design view or web trial view.
Have tried lots of variations including website variants drop down but this has me stumped, will keep trying, however if anyone has come across this would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks
    John

John,it won't be anything to do with your system.
I suspect that ECWID widget is being referenced by a HTML ID. If this is repeated across Variants, only the first instance of the widget will be rendered.

I suspect if you press Ctrl+F5 in a reduced browser sized window and this loads correctly, it will be the issue Acorn is highlighting.

    Hi

    Thanks Egg Ctrl+F5 no change.
If as Acorn suspects the Ecwid sales page is referenced HTML ID, is there a way to capture and copy the the HTML ID onto the Mobile variant page.
Using a html placeholder or is it not possible to find the HTML ID link. I don't want to give up just yet.
If all else fails I will make contact with Ecwid I am sure there is a solution its just finding it.
    Thanks

    Hi GARY,

I not sure if this is the correct way but as a work around its working.

Thinking on Acorns point regarding HTML ID

1 Stop repeating website variant on the main to the mobile page.
2 Drag the Ecwid widget to the mobile page
3 Fill in the details ie store ID and your site name using the Xara insert placeholder
4 Adjust the widget to fit the mobile page size, this change re-adjusts your sales products positions and adds a scroll bar but it seams to work.
Many thanks to Acorn for pinpointing the problem.

    Hi,
I spoke to soon as having thought that Ecwid was now working on the mobile page, later found sales page with a blank placeholder.
There seems to be a problem with sharing Ecwid across both variants could this be just the "Fresh" theme.
If you select Ecwid sales page on the main variant then (Website variants/ Share across all variants) an error message "the selected object cannot be live shared" if you make a static copy as it suggests on the mobile variant then you lose the sales items on the main variant. so it appears you cannot have both!
Can anyone think of a work around
I have contacted Ecwid support who naturally think its not a problem of theirs.
    Thanks
    John
