Default Stop & Post December 2016

Just to get more graphics related content into TG, I thought I'd resurrect this old favourite.

No rules, just post whatever you have been working on lately, it doesn't have to be the finished article, we would love to see it.

To start the ball rolling, here's an imaginary logo made using Illustrator plugin Stipplism from Astute Graphics, to randomly fill the capsule with circles.
Font used:- Bodoni Egyptian Pro Black. Apart from the dots, the rest was made in Xara P&GD.

    Bob.

Really good stuff Bob and Ernie.
I been finishing up my c. 1890s scene so I haven't been working on anything else, so to contribute something I whipped up this little rendering inspired by Bob's logo shown above.

Just realized I didn't add any text. I'll add that later.

As you usually do, Ron, you went for realism. Don't get me wrong, shiny is good!

    Nice clean job, Ernie.

Very boring but a rubbish skip. I've removed the side contact detail stencil.

What a nice idea to resurrect the Stop and post! In fact I've made this post sticky for the rest of the month.

I have been working on creating my own photo presets. This one adds a texture layer that gives the illusion of a bit of frost around the edges. It works just like the new texture presets in the content Catalogue. In the new year I hope to experiment with grunge textures and gradients that mimic camera filters.

This is far from finished yet although I have worked hard on it. I have put is aside agin for the time being to work on a Christmas Ornament.

Brilliant Frances, Absolutely Brilliant!!! Is that a filter forge filter that you're creating or a Xara effect?
