Creating a Blog

I am not a fan or WordPress but it is the safest place to create a blog which I can own and sell in future if I wish.

Prefer blogger.com or timblr but these can be taken away "just 'cause".

Minutes ago I learned about Nabble, but don't know if there any control/ownership protection if I create a blog using this tool.

Any suggests on where to create a blog that meets the above control/ownership condition?

I would like to embed it in Xara.
