Thread: H1 tags in DPX

    Default H1 tags in DPX

    Hi all
I see some old discussion re H1 tags and editing the html code. Is this feature now available in DPX and what other, if any, SEO features are included?
I've been checking some of the sites I've designed and SEO seems to be lacking. H1 tags are mentioned all the time.

No code no needed, simply selected your text and apply Style > Heading 1 (2, ...).

Can you identify the other SEO natures you want?

    Thanks Acorn
I've used a couple of SEO analyzers and they show up stuff like:
    H1
    Paragraph layout
    Language definition
Character encoding not specified in HTTP header
    Inline CSS definitions

    I think we've covered 1.and 2.
Xara does use excessive SPANs so you will get oodles of inline CSS at 5.
I include a Name of HTMLBlockText to most paragraphs to get round this.

For 3. and 4,, the following are a fudge, adding them to the Website HTML Code (head):
    <meta name="charset" content="utf-8" /><meta name="content-language" content="en" />
    <meta name="language" content="en" />
Ideally, you need <html lang="en" /> but that is harder to set up.
