    Have you considered adding aerial perspective? Should be easy to do with transparency.

    It'll be interesting to see if the aerial perspective works. I don't think it will.

    To my mind this type of image shouldn't attempt to be realistic, it should be an abstraction.

    The closer an image like this gets to 'reality' the worse it will get.

    Just my thought.

    [ I did think about Paul Nash, but I'd say that the style you've shown doesn't make me think of Paul Nash at all.

    I could see your work being made from Lino cut or stencils (apart from the sky). ]
