Thread: Sculpting test

    Default Sculpting test

I never was a big fan of sculpting based modelling like Zbrush and 3D-Coat have, but after some experimenting with sculpting tool on Metasequioa, must confess it is very fast to add details that way and turn simple model into something much more realistic.

I have bad imagination so this creature is obviously a mix of bat and pig.

Surprisingly not look that bad for a first try, so I may have to do some more learning.

I worked little more with the model and it turned into scary looking pig.

Metasequoia is currently my favourite modeller and in my opinion no other pure modelling software comes even close. Best 150 USD I have ever used for any software.

Fixed mouth area into more realistic and started with the missing stuff. Mouth and ears still need little tweaks but might actually finish this one as have learned lots of things and techniques already.
