    Default water drops

Somewhere out there there's a tutorial for making water drops, like the ones that you put on roses in the garden after rain or dew. I did this once but can't remember how. Can anybody direct me to this tutorial or one like it? Or just tell me how?

    Thanks,
    pslane

hi Pauline I learned how to do this from this Xara Xone tutorial http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/workbook49/page_3.htm

in V11 and V12 you can experiment with some of the new blending modes with this tutorial, and wiggly droplets are do able now with the shape painter tool and the use of blends.

In this example I drew my shape with the shape painter and instead of an elliptical fill I duplicated the shape and filled the bottom shape with a dark green and the top shape with a light yellowy green and blended from dark to light with about 55 steps. The rest is just following the tutorial except I painted in my highlight shapes instead of using ellipses.
