Another possibility is that the Xara widgets are out of date. Ecwid, Facebook, Youtube Googlemaps & Paypal regularly change their linking proceedures. Try doing it in reverse. Go to Ecwid get the code and paste it directly into Xara bypassing the widgets. It may work

Hi, after you have put in your code, name and pushed generate code, then right click your mouse, click on web properties and then on placeholder tab and click on the HTML code (body) box, and add the 8th digit to the 7 digit code, then click apply and save.
