    Hi Egg

Sorry if I was not clear - what I am trying to achieve is a full width slide that adjusts automatically to the screen width. There is a full screen option in WoW slider which I have selected and this does scale in the Wow slider preview pane.

However when I when I use the Iframe as suggested it does scale up well, but as mentioned when I reduce it I encounter the problems mentioned earlier.

Hi Nobbyy, I created a full width slider that looks great in WOW preview but like yourself I can't get it in Xara showing full width. A bummer!

Hi guys, one thing to check, in Xara have you unchecked the box clip to page edges in web properties/website?

    Ciao

    Good morning everyone

Egg - I can get the slider to display in a responsive full width using your Iframe idea and the code: <iframe src=wowslider.html width=100% height=300 scrolling=no frameborder=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0></iframe>
but when I reduce the width of the browser to less than the size of the Xara page I encounter the issues with blank space to the right an blue box underneath.

Roly - many thanks for the suggestion, but that did not do the trick.

I have written to WOW slider to see if they can help.

Have had a response from WoWSlider but it did not address the issue.

Anybody out there managed to get wowslider to responsively fill screen width?

Maybe I should start a new thread with my problem in the heading.

Just another interesting observation - if I select the 'full page' option for the slider, the height aspect is responsive and stretches with the browser window, but the width does not.

    I must be missing something!?!?

Hi nobbyy, did you try following Wow sliders instructions for input into Xara? If not go to the following link http://wowslider.com/help/xara-web-d...slider-36.html Forget about Joomla reference.

    Perhaps that will help.

    Ciao

I believe the cause is that Xara can't have fullwidth applied to placeholders.

Using one of Sirans supplied xar files I've managed to get the slider full screen but it creates as many problems as it solves:
