    Unhappy Making this logo Spin

I have created this logo with Xara Designer Pro X11 and I need to figure out how to bring it into Xara3d and make it spin. I can of course import the xara file but when i do I just see outlines. Applying that same xara file, as a png texture, just colors the outline itself and looks nothing like actual logo.

I'm a competent designer and yet I feel quite frustrated with xara3d at the moment.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I don't have Xara3D, but you probably need to make the shape a solid color, rather tan an outline and also add the shapes together so they're in one piece

You will need to do this in two steps. Make a solid color version of the logo shape. Then make a bitmap of the rendered ribbon.

You apply the bitmap ribbon as a Texture.

I have not used 3D Maker in a very long time so this is not very good. But you can work with this file and change it as you wish.

Also the is an Extrusion Solid or Outline option. Click this to turn off the outline.

As Gary states, it's a two step operation:

    Egg

Intel i7 - 4790K Quad Core + 16 GB Ram + NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Graphics Card + MSI Optix Mag321 Curv monitor
    + Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD + 232 GB SSD + 250 GB SSD portable drive + ISP = BT + Web Hosting = TSO Host
