Trouble using 'names' to jump back to the first page

Using Web Designer 11 Pro. My first page is long, so I'm using two 'name anchors' to jump down the page. Works fine. However, when I proceed to pages further into the site and then use those same 'names' to return to the anchors on the first page, the first page navigation bars are out of place. I'd appreciate any insight as to what I've done to cause this. Site is: www.inov8design.com Thanks!

Seems OK in chrome - try clearing your local cache - Ctrl+F5.

Very nice site and product design.

Not sure that your home page is long at all. Can you give an example of a link you feel is not working when you link back to the home page?

Thank you. Try this sequence: Open Home page. View entire page and note that navigation bars are correctly located. Return to top of Home page. On Navigation bar, click 'Portfolio'. On Portfolio page, click any (grayed-out) image. When you arrive at that page, using the Navigation bar, click on 'What We Do' - 'Core Competencies'. This brings you back to the Home page. View the entire page and note that the navigation bars are no longer positioned correctly.

I see what you mean and Acorn this does happen in Chrome as well.

I am not sure why but when you return to the anchor, core competencies the header and menu bar are gone. Can you try selecting the header and navigation bar and bringing them to the front (Ctrl F) and see if this still happens.

Another work around if this does not help is create a new page and put the content for core competencies on that page. You can delete the new page from the navigation bar but link to the page as a sub menu for What we do.

I'd recommend removing the Core Competencies & the Inov8 Process from the home page & make them standalone pages.
