    Default a Unique Flower

An idea by Gary Bouton - drawn in Xara.
It was quite a challenge, but, I have to say a big thanks to Gary for the creative idea in the first place.

Folks, all I did was a simple model. The person who did the real work is Rik.

Never in 1,000 years would I attempt to do his drawing in Xara...I just don't have the skill!

I modeled the thing. Compare the two renditions. My final render was much better, but that's not the point. Rik successfully and artistically reverse-engineered my sculpture there! From image, to wireframe!

I get invalid attachment Gare... Awesome drawing Rik!

Without knowing better... I would have guessed a 3d render.

The great thing about this work, is that it gets you to look more closely at it and thinking about just how it was done and the significance of the bits and bobs.
