Designer pro 10 64 - Moving objects with left mouse button makes copys

I feel like a bonehead that I cannot figure this out. When i select an object, resize it or move any objects it makes copy's, its made the program unusable to me until i figure out why. Any body know how I can solve this?

Power off.
Vigorously tap all your keyboard keys.
Turn the keyboard, if separate form your computer, upside down and tap a corner against a hard surface.
Wipe away all the debris.

Power up and try again.

I completely removed the battery's to my keyboard and testing only using my mouse. It still happened. Would you say doing that could still be a keyboard issue? Anyway a tried your solution no luck.


Btw- I run my computer off a laptop and external monitor I use an external mouse/keyboard not the one on the laptop. I just testing the laptops pad and buttons and it's doing the exact same thing so I don't think this is a hardware issue related to my mouse or keyboard.

Have you configured your left and right mouse buttons to be the other way around in Windows control panel?

No nothing has changed. basically both my left and right mouse button's make a copy in xara, it use to only be the right mouse button. Sense i have tried this on my laptop buttons as well I'm sure its not hardware, I don't think its mouse settings. Is there any setting within Xara that could cause such a strange happening? Designer pro 10.

I found this happening to me at times/ It was due to the mouse. Replaced and now fine.

Replacing a mouse is a cheap enough solution and well worth a try.

Tried new mouse, did not fix anything, and as mentioned above I have my laptops trackpad/buttons which do the same thing as my external mouse and keyboard and thats also making copies.

I submitted a ticket yesterday, does anybody know there supports typical response time? I tagged this as urgent, as a program I use daily is almost useless to me now.

Have you tried running DP as administrator? you never know it can't hurt to try.
