It's National Coloring Book Day here in the USA.

I thought I'd donate a page I created to the group. The Xara file has the design locked on a top layer. You can use the new brush tools to color the shirt, the trainers, the backgroundf...go to town.

I have yet to understand the need or the craze.
If it reduced criminality, I'd be waving my coloured flags.

Surely a better crowd-sourced activity would be to take a vintage B&W film and provide a limited colour palette to hand colourise all the individual frames.
Purists may object but this is where I think I came in.

Oh, coloring is just therapeutic, Acorn! The smell of the wax, the ease of the crayon gliding across the rough newsprint, it's just primal and fun for all ages.

Besides, it's only one day and it's only my nation.



Retouching photos can be another day...pick one! And I'll join!
