Ah, that I haven't know. I find it only on the russian beer broweries.

So the netherlands have its own bavaria. From Bavaria where I from we doesn't know a brewery with the name „BAVARIA”.

Yes beer was created in almost all countries in the past because of water contamination.
For the "Brand" name,which is also a dutch beer and even way older than Bavaria,they probably visited a bavarian bierfest way back.

That clears all questions, the beerfest for the name finding.
Btw yesterday it begans again, like every year, and goes on the next 14 days in Munich (Oktoberfest).
