Default Text looks bad on webpage using XDP X365

    Hi,

    I have made a website (www.ishavsalger.se) using XDP 11.
Today I have updated the first page with info under "Nyheter" (News) with XDP 365.
Then I have updated the page "Nyheter".

Using the same font etc as before, since I only have opened the xar-file created in v. 11, edited the pages in XDP 365, saved, exported and then published - just as usual.

But - why does the text look like a bad bitmap? Even on pages not edited and not on all pages. Very strange and not liked by the owner of the site.
    Browser used: Firefox.

    Please, help me!

Olle, the text in Firefox and Chrome looks good here.
Possibly clear out your browser cache by pressing Ctrl+F5.

    Checked from 25% to 500%.

For the image that links to the PDF, I would check that you have not grouped this with itself so it renders as an image.
If anything, import it onto a page and soft group it.
I would then add a transparent overlap above this to link to open the PDF.

    Acorn, Thanks!
I have cleared the cache and it still looks like s**t.
But if I zoom in it looks better than in "normal" view.

So, I opened the file in XDP11 and saved it again. After doing a new publish of the pages it looks perfect in my browser. So, there must be something wrong with the export-function in the new XDP365 (trial).

When it comes to the image that links to the PDF, this is what I did. Since I am not very familiar with soft groups (never used it) I did not see (discover) that as an option.
    - I imported the PDF to XDP11.
    - Did some editing and exported it as a PDF.
    - Selected the content shown in XDP11 and made a group of it.
    - Sized the group and placed it on the start page.
    - Made a link to the PDF-file.

If you have the time to explain the positive things about soft groups I'd like to know more about it.

My motto seems to be: I don't want to learn - I want to know. ;-)

If you group text with an image you export an image.
If you soft-group the same, you get text and an image so when scaled the browser is doing the work for you so you do not lose detail.
