    Hi Deep,

    No, the image was not resized at all and is the exact same size as the Flash movie. It is a pretty large image (as far as dimensions go) 550x400 as is the Flash file. Do you think the image might be too large?? I've never had this problem before (except when animating) and I usually use smaller images. I don't know but I really appreciate the effort that everyone is putting into figuring this problem out.

    i know we've checked the jpg compression from flash, but are the images compressed before bringing them into flash? if so, try inserting uncompressed images and trying again.

    I did try inserting the image as a bitmap but got the same result with a much larger file size.
