How many kilobytes is too big for a bitmap?

How many kilobytes for a bitmap is too big to be used as a fill in a drawing?

When I try to save this drawing I'm working on I get the attached message. The largest bitmap in the document is 178 kbytes.
I'd rather know what size and not have to keep guessing as to what size I need to keep my bitmaps.

how big does it say it is in the bitmap gallery ron - pixel dimensions, MP and dpi

I'm thinking it is the pixel size that is the limiting factor here

Well all that I can say Ron is that I have used a lot bigger than that with no problems. I could ask a few different questions but since you have opened a ticket with Xara I will leave it there.

I agree 178k is a very small bitmap, and shouldn't cause issues.
