Pdf fails to preview in Chrome

Have basically finished a website ready for publishing and have a couple of PDF files that appear in separate windows. Have tried previewing the site in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera. The PDFs work fine in IE and Firefox but appear as blank in Chrome and Opera. Weird?! The PDFs are exported as Acrobat v8 from Adobe InDesign. Has anyone else come across this issue or have any idea how to fix it?

Might help us to see the file. Also how are the PDF files appearing? Are you linking to files and letting the browser open the PDF's?

I wonder if Chrome and Opera may not have a PDF viewer?

No worries on this now. The pdf was visible in Chrome viewer after publishing website (though it did not appear in preview mode). Anyway all done now and quite pleased about the result, complete with a sub-site, video and pdfs!
