    Default Re: Table Widget SUCKS!

I have tried using the table widget supplied with Web Designer Premium and all is well on the Xara preview. However, when I upload the page to my website it is obviously there but the text is not showing!
I'll try to post a couple of screenshots to show what I mean.

Hi Pauline, welcome to Talk Graphics. Your font seems to be Verdana, if that is it, change it to something else. There is a problem with Verdana lately, Xara is working on it.
Let us know if that works.

    Ciao

    Roly

I find it amazing that the need is not addressed by the authors/publishers of this software.

I know lots of folks here also use Xara's DTP software, does it not have the ability to do tables either?
Have not used the DTP function but was planning to try converting a report I do in Word to Xara to make it more pretty. But no table function would make my report impossible to create. Over half the report in Word is done with tables.

    thanks for the warning.

    Hi PaulineLeverett,

Have you sent in a ticket to support.xara.com?

If not can you send in a ticket, including your file or an example file where this goes wrong? Add the ticket number to this thread so we can find it.

Also, just in future your post isn't related to the original post and so would've been better in it's own thread.

    Thanks,
    Ben
