SVG import chaos

Dear Xara users

I hope, anybody can solve this problem.

I buyed a Xara Page & Layout Designer 11 before few days, and found one big problem. Problem is in importing SVG file. Inscape SVG and standard SVG.

I will send you 3 files to show you this problem, if I can.
File 1: "Petnoga - 1.svg" is the original. If you can open it in Inkscape. I have Inkscape 0.48.5.
File 2: "Petnoga - 1--a.jpg" is original file convertet to PNG from Inkscape and it is OK. If you have no inkscape.
File 3: "Petnoga - 1--b.jpg" is original file opened in Xara and exported to PNG.

You see, many object changed its position. There is real chaos. I don't know how to descript this in words. Well, there are pictures. You can see, what is real problem. Maybe already exist some patch or update for this problem, but I can't find it.

File opened without a flaw in Xara Designer Pro 10. Export is as expected. Haven't tried it in XDP11 yet. You could try to save the file as a plain SVG from Inkscape.

It opens fine in PGD2013 (v. 8)

I see the problem in designer pro 11 - the groups that are your brickwork iare being rendered differently

I don't have page and layout designer, but maybe it is a ver 11 issue

saving as a plain svg does not seem to make much difference

Opens perfectly in Photo & Graphic Designer 365.

Yes, I made two tests. In second, in Inkscape "save as" to plain SVG. The result is same.

There is simply an issue with version 11, no matter the specific application. It opens fine in X9 as well.

ok -I don't have time to do much testing, but I think it is the use of path 'clone' objects in your wall group that is the problem in version 11 - but I could be wrong

Yes it's a version 11 problem, Opens in other vector programmes that I use well maybe in Illustrator CS5 larger than it should. It renders correctly in all browsers. Maybe start a ticket in Xara.com if you have more problems with your drawings.
