Is there anyway to view the mobile variant of a web site to check that all is well with the layout before the whole site is exported or published to the web. Every time I preview the site it only shows the main page?

Acorn - installed Xara software: Cloud+/Pro+ and most others back through time (to CC's Artworks). Contact for technical remediation/consultancy for your web designs.
When we provide assistance, your responses are valuable as they benefit the community. TG Nuggets you might like. Report faults: Xara Cloud+/Pro+/Magix Legacy; Xara KB & Chat
If you are using chrome then use developers tools (ctrl+shift+i in windows) (ctrl+shift+m in firefox) and you can choose the device or as acorn suggests just make the browser smaller. But remember that there is no substitute to viewing on the actual device.

Is that a suitable 'test-bed' (although obviously the best way is the device itself).

Thanks,
Robert
Just tried it with a couple of websites side by side with actual iphone and have to report that it's not a very good emulator.
Good to know.
Thanks,
Robert
