huum I think I'd better keep my views on coffee to myself after the steak issue - what I will say is I was brought up to drink espresso neat and chase it with a glass of cold water only.. no milk, no sugar, no' anything in the espresso itself; like malt whisky only slightly larger measures...

The appartment thing is outrageous.
My grandparents drank 'Camp' coffee - it was quite horrible.
I doubt they or my parents would know what an espresso is.
