Installation of Xara Designer Pro 11 on Windows 10 Home PC

I am using a new HP Envoy laptop. Downloaded Win64 version and installed.

Installation seemed to work OK. I opened Xara as Administrator, My activation code worked. I did the updates.
However, none of my Galleries were displayed. When I went to Utilities > Galleries they were all checked. I finally got the Page and Layer Gallery to appear by checking and unchecking it in Utilities > Galleries, but none of the other Galleries still will not display and they remain checked and wont uncheck. I closed Xara and did a hard reboot and reopened Xara ..... no luck.

Any ideas of what to do?

Found solution in the Knowledge Base:

I cannot find one or more of the galleries in Xara.

"If you are having difficulties in displaying a particular gallery then please select Window followed by Control Bars and click on the reset button. The problem can be caused by dragging a gallery outside the boundaries of the Xara window, causing it to appear behind other objects such as your start bar."

just for reference it can also be caused when using extended monitor setups by disabling a monitor that xara 'thinks' the gallery is on
