Thread: Tablet Pages

    Default Tablet Pages

My website is currently presenting a mobile variant on mobile, great, but a desktop variant on ipad.

Am I missing something here? It seems to me I need three variants, desktop, tablet and mobile, but how do I add an extra variant?

What page sizes are other using? Currently I have my mobile at 480px

    Hi Starmo,

How to add an extra variant:
Utilities / Website Variants / Website Variants / Create.

I find my desktop variant site looks fine on my ipad, but if you want to experiment, just choose a size between the two variants you all ready have.

    iPads have a 768 x 1024 Logical resolution

Thanks Egg, after I posted I realised most websites work fine on ipads as desktop display, but thanks for the heads up on adding new sizes.

I have another problem too, I have google forms on my desktop site which works fine, but cannot scroll on ipad, I am sure I have seen this problem before, but cannot remember an answer.
I have my form in an iframe.

I would embed the code in a placeholder.

I heve no problems re this. On a desktop I get scrollbars, on the iPad it just scrolls by running your finger up/down.

Could you supply an example .web or url displaying your issue.

Gary, I believe if you examine any of the Widgets for forms there are effectively IFRAMEd. No one's using cross site AJAX to my knowledge.
