    Default Blends: Feature request

Often times I have to change the value of objects/steps in a blend. I'd like to be able to increase/decrease the value in the numeric input field by rolling the mouse wheel up and down, or dragging left right.

I just want some interactive way of changing numeric values instead of typing a value, seeing if it's right, then typing in another value and seeing if its too much, then too little, then finally hitting the right value.

I think that any numeric input field should be able to be easily increased or decreased with the mouse wheel. This is a useful feature I've found in other apps and I'd like to see it come to Xara.

Perhaps a small value change with the mouse wheel and a large value change with a modifier key(CTRL/ALT) plus the mouse wheel. This should only work when the cursor is over the number.

A time back, Computer Concepts' USP was all its event controllers were hand-coded so they bypassed bloated Windows mechanisms, for speed.
Perhaps Xara is anchored down by this and it is wedded into its codebase so much that simple UI controller tweaks are much harder for it?

Yes, didn't Artworks have this feature?

Yes, but ArtWorks didn't run on Windows, it was Risc OS.
So when Xara (née Computer Concepts) moved to the PC, they brought over the approaches they developed for ArtWorks.
    The rest is history,

Yes, I remember scrolling to change the number of blend steps in Artworks. Often wondered why it wasn't carried across.
