Page & Layer Gallery

This occurs in all Xara versions to date...

User Interface to get to the Layers is quite obscure if you open the gallery and it is in Pages mode.
Clicking on a small white triangle is not intuitive. Pages & Layers buttons should stay visible in both modes.

Pages modes should have Page Up & Page Down Buttons.
Hiding the function away in Edit > Pages is wrong, it needs to be under Arrange.

Why does it take a click drag operation of half of another page before the slash zero changes to a valid move pointer?

Christine, they are out there in the wild and anyone can download them and use them. They can be added as Smart Shapes into any design. Is Xara then going to patrol all published design files here and on the Internet? The spiral's functionality is only fully realised in XWD365(P), delivering the default in XWD11(P).
I could add then in this Post as a slight to Xara but instead I have chosen to point out the stupidity of this and of their killing off the On-line capabilities into a subscription service.

Xara should consider the kudos they will gain by listening instead.

I agree, When I pointed out the absence of the spiral, which was mentioned in the release notes, all they did was take out the mention in the release notes, they didn't even know this was available from the menu in XWD11P.

Web Animation - Reveal/ Scroll

The new Reveal Animations for Premium are very useful.
There are a few deficiencies.

Roll in should be be Roll in left; you should include Roll in right.
All the Fade ins need to have a Fade out.
All the Rotates need to be clockwise and anti-clockwise.

All of the effects should come with a Preview.

Web Animation - Reveal/ Scroll

Two unintended features that should be addressed.

Animations that come in from an edge should be allowed to do so from the screen (viewport) edge or the Page background edge, controlled by the toggling of Clip to page edges.
Presently, this is wrongly set by the presence of a default or modified Page background.

Reveal / Scroll effects are not functional on pop-up layers!
An effect should be dependent on the CSS visibility attribute not a layer position.
The proper fix would be to disable this tab when an object is picked that is on a pop-up layer.

When trying to access Xara Online Designer from Share > Xara Online Designer, I get a page with:

When it occurs, will I then get the 365 Day Update Guarantee of On-line access for 365 days?

How will Xara Online Designer know that I have a XWD365P, XWD11P or XDPX application to get me into the right material?

the ability to allow your client (the customer) to update specific parts of their website, using any web browser, and re-publish their own changes

is managed.

Will the adding of Smart Shapes from the On-line Content Catalogue be provisioned?
Your guide mentions Smart Shapes in Object handling but not in their creation.

Drag drop PDF File

If you drag a PDF onto your design page you get the option to add it as a link in XWD365P.
This has disappeared in XDPX10. Will it follow the former or latter for XDP365X?

In selecting Add Link, a Placholder for the PDF icon is added as "http://webdesigner.xara.com/pdficon_large.png".

Can this not be added as a local Xara resource instead?
The present image cannot be scaled and is linked to your servers that have 98% availability. This does not suit a production-capable solution.
