    Default Another (2) button question...

    1. I'd like to design a button that when you click on it (push) it looks like it moving down and then pops back, then connects you to the link tied with that button. is there a Widget for that?

    2. I saw a 8 animated picture buttons which show products on this link: http://www.xara.com/us/?v=f#cat=.xara When you move your cursor on each product, the product picture fades and text comes up underneath. when you move the cursor, the text goes away and the picture comes back. Is that a widget also?

I saw a youtube video on mouse-over state slide in objects, fade-in and instant Lesson 55. is this how I make that #2 question work or is there an easier way...aka widget? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDjX...hpobQ&index=59

    Thanks

    1. Create a MouseDown (use that exact name) layer and place your mouse down button state on this layer. Also the MouseDown layer needs to be above the MouseOver and MouseOff layers.

    2. Done with a pop-up layer and a fade effect.

I think you would have a fade effect on all three states. Years ago I experimented using an animated GIF for a mouse over, you might consider that option for the mouse down.

Okay, you said...."Also the MouseDown layer needs to be above the MouseOver and MouseOff layers!"

Okay, now when you say above, do you mean the MouseDown layer need to be designed with that layer on top of the other two? or, on top in the page layer gallery? Example.....

    Index Page
    Layer 3 MouseDown (fade)
    Layer 2 Mouse Over (fade)
    Layer 1 Mouse Off (fade)
    Page Background
    Paste Board background

Thanks for your help in advance.

    A picture is worth...

MouseDown button state also becomes the current page indicator which I like better because it is not the same as the default MouseOver state.
