So, I don't get why my Xara Pro11 all of a sudden starts displaying the inches as pts?
I'm sending off the files to Xara. Hope I get an answer soon.

I don't know either, Ron.
Try this. Assuming that a new document correctly displays in inches, setup a page the same size as in the funky document. Then import your existing document into it.
To add...perhaps your default template is messed up. Maybe use another document type to begin a new drawing and check the units.
It's strange Ron that what Mike sees when opening your document as shown in #11 but when I open it in XP&GD11, I see this I've posted?

Hi Ron,
I suspect the problem stems from the regional settings on your computer limiting the number of decimal places that are used to display numbers. Designer automatically shifts down to a smaller unit if it finds that a non-zero measurement would be displayed as "0.0".
So for example if the measurement is 1/32nd of an inch, your configured units are inches and your regional settings only allow numbers to be shown to 1 decimal place 1/32 is 0.03125 inches and to one decimal place that rounds to "0.0", which is not helpful. In that case Designer changes the display units to be Points and then 1/32nd of an inch can be displayed as "2.3pt" (rounded to 1 dp.)
Lecture over! To fix the problem you probably need to change your regional settings in Windows to display more decimal places:
In Windows 10:
Close Designer
Click Windows Start button
Click Settings
Click Time & Language
Click Region & Language
Click "Additional date, time & regional settings"
Click "Change date, time or number formats"
Click "Additional settings"
Find the "No. of digits after decimal" field and change the number in that field to be one or two bigger than it currently is (e.g. from 2 to 3)
Click OK and OK and close all the settings windows
Run Designer and see if the problem is fixed.
Fingers crossed - if I have understood the problem correctly that should fix it!
Phil
