Default I'm Confused On How To Create A New Swatchbook

In the Color Gallery, is it possible to add a new 'default' folder? I put together a couple of palettes and currently just have them saved in a blank document, but would rather have them available all the time as a part of a 'default' swatch selection like the folders that Xara comes with.

Is this possible? I cannot seem to add a folder nor figure out where I can make the colors I select more permanent.

What I do is create a custom palette of named colors. It is a bit of a bother but worth it. Then I have the palette of named colors on my default template page and the colors appear in the color line.

Thanks. I was missing the step of putting an object of each color into the document itself. I was wondering where my colors went.

You may also want to notice the Delete Unused Colors option. Utilities | Options | View tab
That's one of the first things I turn off.

There's also Brian Etheringtons excellent XPal

XPal 3.3 from Brian Etherington, XPal.

XPal is a freeware utility that can edit and create PAL format palette files used by Xara X. The program includes support for imported bitmaps, clipboard copy bitmaps and a color dropper tool for selecting colors from a Xara X drawing window.

Does it still work Egg with the newer OS. I think I tried to use it a few years ago and it kept closing down as I used it frequently in the late 90's early 2000's.
