Default Is page width: auto possible?

Hi folks, I'm brand new to Web Designer so lots to learn.

How do I get my page width set so it does a "width: auto" and, therefore, re-sizes with the screen.
Exactly the same way this forum re-sizes.

I can only find the page Size tab on the Utilities -> Options popup and that will only take a hard coded number which is completely useless to me.

I need to set a minimum size but no maximum one. Eg the div with the "skinWrap" class on it on this forum.

    All help gratefully received

    Technically, you can't.
The software allows you to create "variants."
One for desktop, and one for mobile.
I create one at 980px width, and another at 480px.
Here's a tutorial to start with.

    Well, maybe.

As Merlin_AZ says, you can setup multiple variants of the website for different browser widths. Typically a desktop version plus a mobile version.

Website Designer is a WYSIWYG system and matches as closely as possible what you see in the design environment to what the user will experience in the browser. It takes an Adaptive design approach rather than a Responsive design approach.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both approaches. Some websites use a combination of both these approaches.
