#1. Can I start off with a blank page and design a responsive website and what are the steps

#2. Is there a full page slideshow or carousel available.

#3. Are there any more Wide Style Theme (R) available other then the 4 that are offered.

1: Web Designer is a WYSIWYG web design product. So put objects and text on the page where you want them to appear.

Web Designers sites are not truly responsive. You create "variants" designed to a specific size using the elements from your main site. Xara helps the browser detect the size of the browser and feeds the appropriate site to the browser, e.g. a smart phone.

2: I don't think so but you can add one using a third party product such as Visual Slideshow.

3: Again, I am not sure but you are free to alter any of the templates in any way you wish.

In the Help menu, there is an item, Movies that takes you to the Xara website where you can find videos on most of the basics and beyond. Plus the www.xaraxone.com features a lot of tutorials.
