    Default G.P's. snowman

I was about to attempt snowman in globe by Frances when I came across this one by G.P. 1997! So I thought I'd give it ago. I've stuck to the tut. as Gary gave it but with some additions. I did not use a photograph for the back drop as he did but made a rectangle that you could change the colour of it and in doing so, change the whole look of the image as you can see in S1 and S2. I must also mention the opening words Gary wrote in his tut. "This tutorial was prepared in Xara 1.5. I've been told that dimensions are helpful, so here are the basic dimensions" They were very helpful Gary

I like it, Stygg. Good for Christmas card or name tags.

Cheers Gray, I'm having the green one blown up to poster size for one of my grandaughters, she says she loves it and can I put her name on the base? Hope G.P. does not object.

Cute! How did you do the grainy texture? Was that a separate image or was it manipulation of one of the plasma/fractal fills?

Do you mean the snowflakes in the water? Those are vector objects.

Stygg it is great idea visiting these old tutorials!

I especially like the left version with the warmer athmosphere (maybe for a Snowman the opposite is better )

    It's a simple noise tile.
