Main page and layer stay selected

I started a new page, the first one of my new website to be. Its just a default page Xara makes.
I also made a layer.
At the moment its impossible to import anything anymore in the main page...all now goes to layer (games) and that is not ok.

Any tip?

In the page and layer gallery click on the one you want to use to make it the active layer.

Further to Christines comment, it's not a good idea to have a layer between the default mouseOff and mouseOver layers as this kills any roll-over effect. You can change the stacking of layers by left-clicking and holding the mouse button down, drag it up or down the layers stack.

Thanks but that is what WD is doing itself, I only add a layer and the program places it there.

That's not possible. Xara just adds any new layer to the top of the layer stack, so you must have moved it by accident. Your screen grab merely shows that the page is selected (top arrow) and that the games layer is selected. Just left click on the layer you wish to add content to.
