    Default Bleed

    Hi all,
So a customer has sent me a PDF file that he wants me to use to print flyers with, trouble is it doesn't have a bleed. Is there a way of creating a bleed using the file he sent me? Otherwise it is a case of re-drawing the whole darn thing from scratch!
    Thanks in anticipation...

No idea what you would need to do without at least a screen shot. The PDF would be better.

If the design does not have anything too critical close to the edges then simply re-size to include the bleed (keep important stuff at least 4mm from the cut edge) or just extend the background in the supplied pdf; it's a pdf so it should be editable, setup the document including the allowance for bleed and extend the background.

Do what Cloud states that's fine info. Please remember that when you send a flyer to be printed, multiple copies of the flyer are printed on one sheet, so ask your printer for info on size. I would create my own cut lines marks on another top most layer and even put some text telling printer of the fact.
    Design is thinking made visual.
