    Default Changing Images in a Presentation

    Sorry if I am in the wrong place but trying to make a presentation and want to make the images change to a new one for everytime I use the arrow key but stay on the same page. Not create a new page for every image, hope I am making myself clear, sorry if not. I tried doing a new step and change the image but it shows as an empty slide and when I use the arrow key the last image comes in so not changing one by one.

    Is this possible or is there a video tutorial to do this.

    Thank you for any help on this.

    Really appreciate

    I think you can do this with layers, putting each image on it's own layer and I think there is a link for next layer, previous layer. But then I might also be hallucinating.

    Just create a new step & place the photograph in that step, repeat as often as required.

    @Gary: To many stereograms Gary.

    Egg - Not enough stereograms. :-) Steps are Layers when you are building a presentation.

    did the steps and just added the photo on top of the photo and it worked fine, what i was doing was making a step and changing the first photo so all seems fine now.

    only thing i find is when i save it deletes a step. not sure why but can redo.

    Thanks again much appreciation

    I noticed that too. Must be a "feature."

    Are you sure they're the same Gary? Never used Xara presentation, but Steps & Layers seem different to me.

    Steps as near as I can tell are layers but with different capabilities. But you can have multiple steps on one page and they are all essentially on their own frame/layer.
