Default Changing the Colors of a Selected Area When The Selection Is White?

    This is the feature:
Photo Editing Guide - Changing the Colors of a Selected Area

I love this feature, but I just found out yesterday it doesn't work when the color selected is white. How does one change the color of something when its original color was white? An example would be a friend's white cat.

Should I submit this as a bug or is this by design? I'm not sure what to think of this since white is a selectable color therefore it should be modifiable. if it is supposed to be this way then the UX should be that selection of white should not be allowed. At least that way the disappointment is paid for earlier on.

    Welcome to TG Sneaky Pete.

White is created by all colours mixed, rgb, so it's not possible to change the colour of a white cat (or a black one either) using the method you mention above. You can however change the colour by adjusting the light &/or dark contone.
