Any Plans for an Update to Xara 3D Maker 7?

I've been a user of Xara 3D Maker for a while. I use it to create custom boot animations for my Android ROM's. I've gotten many compliments on the professional look.

What I like most is the simple approach the program provides, without a bunch of busy bells and whistles. I know there are plenty of more advanced (expensive) programs that can do the same thing, but the learning curve is too much...and I like the simplicity of Xara products.

I've noticed it has been a while since an update was released. Is there one in the works?

I've also started a new hobby with a 3D printer. It would be awesome if the 3D images designed in Xara 3D could be exported to an .stl format to import to my other 3D designs.

If there is already a conversion tool for this, please share.

I don't really know. I did a Google search on converting to stl file and got several hits but don't know anything about any of the sites
