    This is a showcase I designed to display a collection of Inuit art. I had fun creating the "art" - they are not really indicative of the actual pieces. Xara was really great for drawing this project. I was able to use the drawing to explain to the Gallery and the cabinet maker how the showcase would be built. Using Xara's layers I illustrated each stage in the construction on a seperate layer - Starting with an empty room on the first layer I could progressively turn on layers showing how the base was installed, then the bulkhead, the back panel, etc.

    The finished installation looks very much as it is illustrated (although the "real" art looks better).

    Ross you have a clean graphic here. I too use layers often in my work. They really come in handy. I hope to see some of the new work that folks start posting when Xara2 comes out.
