Adobe Illustrator- Using stylus while not detecting hand

On photoshop theres a way where if I use a stylus, theres an option where it wont detect my hand. I use a tablet and sometimes my hand falls on the screen and it messes uo what im drawinf.

So while using the stylus, is there any way to not detect my hand? Thank you!

I know that on the IPad stylii that support palm recognition have to use bluetooth communication between the stylus and iPad PLUS the app that you use must support that particular stylus and the palm detection.

It's not automatic, you need to have the right stylus and application for that to happen.

Unfortunately ProjectCornDog you say so little we have no idea what stylus you are using, what tablet you are using or what application you are using.

I doubt there are many surface pro users on TG. You would be better off trying on a dedicated forum for the surface pro.
