It's not to late... I have browsed the net and it seems like the person who wanted to buy my cupboard is a fake...
They sent the money to PayPal plus cost for transportation that they want me to pay to the carrier and then nothing happens besides that I don't get any money and they have made me pay for the non existing transportation.
So, the end of the story is not ready yet ;-)

Speak to the local newspaper - it's a nice interesting local story and someone may come forward to help you, or the paper may know someone who can.
