Default The posting via FTP creates a misspelled word

    Hi All,
Has anyone come across this problem before. I updated my web page with new photos and text
The text I used was -
At our most recent meeting, Pizza Night, was attended by members and
their significant other halves. A good evening was had by all.

Beneath this I had a Photo of the evening.

Having saved the data I then viewed and published the article and photo.

I then noticed that the word - attended - had been altered to aended the double tt was missing.
I tried putting the word elsewhere in the text and the same occured.
I was able to get - at tended - to be shown but when the space was removed so were the two tt's
I went and viewed this 1st in IE and the word was produced correctly, I then used Firefox, which is my main product for internet use and the word was truncated again to aended.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on.

    Thanks

    Steve Bishop

I have seen something like this happen if there is an object set to repel text. Other than this, there is no way a word when published would be altered.

Possibly spell check is seeing this as a misspelling but any of this would show in preview before you publish.

Maybe a link to the published site or the .xar or .web file uploaded here (probably just a page would do, not the entire site).

Link to my web site www.whcc.co.uk

I don't know how to add just the single page for you to look at .xar?

    Thanks

What product are you using? I just looked at your public profile but it does not say what product or version you are using.

And are you using an iframe to display the content on the page from another website?

When you get a second perhaps you can add that info to help us beleaguered moderators.

    Hi,
    oops Sorry.
No iframe's just the plain backdrop to the Zara Web Designer Premium 11 web page, the only content I have from another website is Google maps on the map tab and Blogger.com n the blog tab and imported photo's
