Default Mouseover not working on Ipad

    Hello friends,

I just purchased Xara Web Designer Premium 11 and is really a good program.

Iīm having a little trouble. The mouseover effects in the nav bar and on the buttons works in my PC, and windows phone (variant site), but do not work on my iPad. I canīt "click" in any buttons on the iPad, making the site unusable. The only solution is to remove the mouseover effect?

    Thanks

    Welcome to TG!

    Touch screens don't do mouseover.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Use the Web Animation Click/Touch effects. Right click on the object, select Web Animation and then select Click/Touch. Or simply link the button or object using the Link Tool at the top of the screen. As Paul points out, mobile devices do not have mouse over effects.

Thanks for the answers. What I think is strange is that all the templates on the xara site works in the iPad, I can touch the navbar buttons and the link works, including the Polar template that I used to make my site. In my site the navbar and the buttons clicks only work in the Ipad when I remove the mouseover effect. I must have made some mistake in the process.

I already deleted and created a new navbar and buttons but the problem persists. I really donīt want to remove the mouseover effect because this will also remove the effects for the PC, because I have only a mobile variant. Thanks!

Samsung supports hovering/mouseover since the Galaxy S4.

What happens if you do remove it? Does that mean you have to click on a button or what?

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

I removed the mouseover and now the buttons and the navbar works in the iPad, but lost the effect on the PC.

The thing is: The templates of the xara site works fine in the iPad, so probably it was something that I did that made the buttons and the navbar "untouchable" in iOS.

The normal variant and the mobile variant are tied together. When you change someone on one variant, it changes on the other.

You need to use the navigation bar with mouseover states on the normal variant. Then right click on the nav bar and select Website Variants > Stop Shaving with Variants.

Then you can modify the mobile variant.

..if I can't shave with variants, who can I shave with?

Yes I did this, but the original mobile variant does not contemplate Tablets. Well, I removed all the effects and published the site. I will try to find where the mistake was made.
