@Frances: Thanks. I'm all for as much customization as possible. And the ability to save the customizations is very important.

When I was using Ventura, I had a couple of different workspaces for different types of projects. Being able to name and switch workspaces was invaluable.

    Just a little request:

If I move a line object it stays fully rendered like other objects.

If I reposition a line end point all I see is a thin blue line so have to guess where the arrow head will end up.

Please can I have fully rendered repositioning ?

    @DD,

Don't reposition by the start/end handles but use the space in between those two(shows this Name: ~clipimage.jpg

    Hans,
That moves the whole line, I want to leave the tail where it is and reposition just the head.
When I do this I get the thin blue line so cant see where the head will be.

Why not drag the tail after the pointer is in place?
But I see your point to have the pointer/tail show even when dragged.

Click on the arrow twice, then move the position of the rotation origin symbol to the end of the line then reposition the arrow head. Arrow is fully rendered during move.

Does this cover what you want to do?

    My two cents:

dimension tools (on my wish lit since v9)
    labelling with dimensions/properties
    labels or connected objects
pure vector brushes (on my wish list since v8)
more robust CMYK rendering (colour handling)

But since the wished features are on the list every time Designer Pro is just released and since more than half of it never is fulfilled we stick with v9. In the meantime Inkscape is catching up....

Thanks for the thought, my screen shot does imply I'm looking to rotate the arrow, but I want to reposition the head to anywhere.

I am curious as to why we see thin blue lines when repositioning nodes rather than full rendering.
